Aims

TRINNODD is a “Transfer of Innovation” project aiming at transferring the innovative results of a previous project, the TRIADD project (training modules on the theme of Dual Diagnosis) www.triadd.lu to new countries and contexts (Italy, Spain, Portugal and Romania).

In the TRIADD project, the partnership conducted surveys into staff training needs, researched resources useful to staff, devised a number of training courses to address these needs, delivered these 3-day training courses based on real case studies, circulated a follow-up questionnaire to trainees and set up a website offering resources to staff in English and French.
All the information about the TRIADD project is to be found on the website mentioned above.

The TRIADD conclusions and recommendations were used as a starting point of the TRINNODD project.

The aims of the TRINNODD project are the following:

  • Make a link between the recent research results and the concrete experience of frontline staff,
  • Develop a new and interactive training material with the help of research partners. The training material will focus on the needs of users and on the improvement of their quality of life,
  • Transfer this new training product to new target groups and in new geographical and cultural realities,
  • Develop an evaluation tool to measure the short- and long-term impact of the training modules.
