AEECRM – Spanish Society for the Study of Mental Retardation
AEECRM is a Spanish scientific association aiming at promoting research and exchange of national and international information on intellectual disability and health care. It has official connections with the Spanish association of organizations for people with mental retardation and with the World Psychiatric Association.

APEMH – Parents’ Association of Mentally Handicapped Children
APEMH is a national NGO working in Luxembourg for the support of people with mental disabilities, multiple disabilities and dual diagnosis. The principal aim of the association is to improve the quality of life of their client groups and to ensure their social and vocational integration. They have numerous services in various areas, such as residences, educational support structures to enable people to live in the community, sheltered workshops and a training centre -UFEP- for professionals in the field. APEMH is the promoter of this project.

ARFIE – Association for Research and Training on Integration in Europe
ARFIE is an NGO (non-governmental organisation) which brings together at European level various partners involved in the care and support of disabled people, associations of and for disabled people, training bodies, researchers and professionals on the ground working in initial and continuing training.

CTE SRL – Private Institute for Rehabilitation
CTE provides support and rehabilitation activities for people with intellectual disabilities and neurological troubles 160 users). CTE has an educational development and research section and collaborates with the scientific association of rehabilitation institutes in Tuscany. It will work in close cooperation with SIRM on this project.

FENACERCI – National Federation of Social Solidarity Cooperatives
Fenacerci represents 51 cooperatives for the education and rehabilitation of people with special needs. These facilities provide direct or indirect support to approximately 8000 children and adults with disabilities. Fenacerci is a public service organisation that aims to promote the recognition of the rights of people with intellectual disabilities, to ensure that the care which is provided for them is always based on criteria of quality, dignity and appropriateness. Fenacerci has participated in several national and European projects in the field of social integration.

SIRM – Italian Society for the Study of Mental Retardation
The Italian Society for the study of Mental Retardation aims to promote activities of scientific research, divulgation, and training in the field of Mental Retardation. Since the foundation it has been accepted as "Special Section" in the Italian Society of Psychiatry (SIP). The SIRM is represented within the World Psychiatric Organisation, IASSID and MH-ID. SIRM has a wide bibliographic production in the field of Dual Diagnosis. SIRM works with the life-span approach and carries out epidemiologic evaluations validated by mathematical systems to evaluate people with mental retardation.

UCOS – One Child, One Hope Foundation
The “One Child, One Hope” (in Romanian, “Un Copil, O Speranta”) Foundation was created in June 1998 by a common initiative of its founder, Mrs. Elena Miruna Tudorache and a group of French people who were willing to help the Romanian abandoned children.
Since 1999 the Foundation is conducting the Social Assistance and Abandon Prevention Program for families in need from Sibiu county.
Since 2002, the Day Center for Recovery and Stimulation of Children with Special Needs provides a unique and very successful program for the social and educational integration of children with disabilities.
